Honest/Highly Recommended  I had some problems with my truck making a loud knocking sound and brought it in to them. It is a 95 Chevy with 238000 miles so i really know my truck, it sounded like a rod going out it was so loud. I called on Sat and they told me they could look at it, of course when i started driving up there it quit making the noise. Terry and his guys took a look at it and could not find out the source. He stated because it stopped making the noise. But they spent some time looking (30-40 minutes), then he discussed with me what it could be and to bring it back if it started making the noise again. Also that day my mother in laws vehicle stopped working and her vehicle had some smoke coming out the front when she was out running errands in sherman(she was visiting from out of state)and she had it towed there based on my experience with them. Well you know how it is when you take it in and you are 8 hours away from home. She was pretty nervous about the cost, she thought it was the fuel pump and it was going to cost hundreds of dollars. But it turned out to be a hose. For the hose, installation and diagnostic check it cost $106.00. She drove back home 8 hours away the next day with no issues. Highly recommended based on my experience. I took mine there based on Price Wise Plumbing review. I have lived in Sherman for 9 years so i have taken vehicles to other places. I will be going back to them.

EXCELLENT Customer Service!!!!!  I am the owner of Price Wise Plumbing Co.based out of Collinsville, Texas. My father-in-law recommended Alpha Transmissions & Auto saying that he had talked to a few people at the local coffee shop and that's who they recommended we take our plumbing service van. We had been having problems with the van and it had actually been sitting for over a YEAR! We were certain it needed a complete transmission rebuild. We dropped the van off and got a call within a couple of days saying that it didn't need a rebuild at all! It simply needed a gasket replaced on the dip-stick! ($0.30 part!) Alpha filled it with transmission oil and made sure to run it long enough to see that there were no other problems and Voila! $110.00 later rather than $1800.00!!! I am VERY impressed with their honesty. They easily could have taken us to the cleaners since we thought we knew what was wrong. I recommend them to anyone. It is very hard to find honest people today. I found one. Thanks Alpha Transmission& Auto.
